While all those who visit Halong Bay are charmed by the archipelago’s beauty, few visitors are aware that the three-thousand islands that dot this bay are home to many rare plants, including species found nowhere else in the world. We chose our boats names: Halong Ginger, Halong Jasmine and Halong Violet, because like the plants they were named after, our junks are perfectly suited the environment. Itinerary - Violet Halong Cruise 2 days/ 1 night

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Violet Cruise (L/D)
We depart from the capital at 8 :30 am for Ha Long Bay approximately three hours away. En route we have a short stop at the Sao Dao center run for and by handicapped children for short break. Upon arrival at Ha Long Bay  we will be met by captain and cruise and transferred to Violet Cruise.Welcome on board of Halong Violet and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with Halong Violet golden sails, go swimming on a quite beach or sunbathing on the sundeck. Later afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with opportunity to interact with fish-men who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. At sunset time, kayak or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board Halong Ginger, enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at Violet restaurant.

Day 2: Halong Violet– Hanoi (B)
Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Time to say good bye to Halong and transfer back to Hanoi

Day 2: Violet Halong Cruise (B/L/D)
After breakfast, transfer to your day – trip boat with private crew and cruise to the bay’s most untouched areas. Enjoy swimming on quiet beaches, visiting water tunnels, fishing villages or kayaking. Lunch served on board by your private chef. Return to the mother boat for the night.

Day 3: Violet Halong Bay – Hanoi (B)
Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Time to say good bye to Halong and transfer back to Hanoi.
